Meeting the next generation designers and innovators!
Access to new talents, thinkers, and innovators is crucial to develop and follow the pace of time. Our Country Manager Denmark Torben Hajslund visited the DTU High Tech Summit 2019 in Denmark yesterday and was impressed by the next generation designers and the buzzing summit.
“I am impressed how the summit creates an inspiring environment for companies, start-ups, organizations, and universities to meet and present their latest technological development, facilitate interesting debates, matchmaking and cheer on the idea of tomorrow. Meeting up with the next generation of designers and innovators, listen to their thoughts and share knowledge is what makes this job and industry so interesting,” says Country Manager Denmark Torben Hajslund.
Be aligned and reduce risk
Innovation, digitalization, and technology – all important aspects when designing new products. We have lately talked a lot about early involvement in the product development process. Why? To reduce the risk of mistakes and make sure all parties involved are aligned. This focus makes it even more fun and exciting to visit and meet up with future innovators, designers, and product owners. We had a great time yesterday at the DTU High Tech Summit 2019 in Denmark.
In space we trust – space technology for multiple uses
Key points from this year’s Summit was Industry 4.0 & Robotic, Big Data & AI, Internet of Things, Sustainable Energy and Environment &Climate.
“I found in particular some of the speeches around Space Technology appealing, Elmatica is involved in quite a lot of Space projects. Our CEO recently attended a meeting with the Norwegian Industrial Forum for Space Activities talking about industrialization in relation to space technology. One statement mentioned was that space technology can solve up to 70% of the challenges we face on earth. After visiting and connecting with some of the new talents at DTU, the talents and technology to make this happen for sure are in place,” says Hajslund.
Inspiring engagement and solutions
“To see the engagement and solutions presented from the participants on how technology and innovation can help solve and influence on the climate challenges was very inspiring. As a broker of printed circuits, we already assist on several projects with DTU, our philosophy is the same as the purpose of the Summit: we want to support all phases of the product development, from the idea is hatched to the product is launched,” says Hajslund.
Researchers from all over the world, 1100 companies, 300 startups, and students come together and discuss digital development. The special focus this year was climate and how digitalization and new technologies can help solve the challenges.
