Elmatica, the world’s oldest broker of printed circuits, is expanding and looking for an experienced engineer with PCB design and DFM knowledge to our Technical department, do you feel the call?

Who are we?
Elmatica is the oldest broker of printed circuits in the world. Established in 1971 operating globally, delivering to 5 continents and 39 countries with over 10 000 orders per year, to small family businesses and companies listed on the stock exchange.
Our knowledge and experience will ensure that your printed circuit is designed correctly, manufactured to the product requirement and delivered to industry standard. 

We have situated our HQ in Oslo, with offices in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Polen, Italy, Australia, France, China, and South Africa.

As a broker of printed circuits, we operate globally, in all types of industries, offering our knowledge and experience to our customers in the Automotive, Medical, Space, Defense industry and several more. Through a strong culture of collaboration both internally and externally, we deliver on expectations by ensuring quality. 

Our Technical department solves thousands of challenges each year, and you will be an important resource in these matters.
The position reports to Chief Technical Officer based in Oslo.
Our Technical department currently consists of 8 engineers with more than 250 years of PCB experience combined. Our knowledge is our advantage, and as we experience an increased demand for technical consulting from our customers, with new technology and more complex designs, this will be a vital task for this position.

Who are you?

  • You are an experienced PCB designer or have worked within the field of PCB manufacturing.
  • Structured and systematic, with an eye for important details.
  • Several years of experience with PCB design, design improvement, DFM .
  • Nationality from a NATO country, Sweden, Finland or Australia.
  • Excellent English skills are essential, other language skills are considered a plus. 
  • Company language is English so speaking or reading Norwegian is not a prerequisite.

What technical skills are we looking for?
Experience within PCB production and/or design (DFM) is crucial.
It’s preferable with extensive experience from a front end engineer from PCB production.
